Refund Policy

Nexus Gateway sells workflow software, not inference credits. Users can cancel anytime, and provider usage remains billed by each provider.

Initial Recommendation

Offer a 7-day refund on the first subscription payment for solo Pro users. Do not offer automatic refunds for renewals after the billing period has started, except for duplicate charges, billing mistakes, or confirmed product access failures.

What Stripe Handles

Stripe processes refunds and exposes refund tools in the Stripe Dashboard and API. Nexus Gateway still decides whether a customer qualifies for a refund and starts the refund from Stripe when needed.

Cancellation

Customers should be able to cancel through the Stripe-hosted billing portal once Stripe is configured. Cancellation stops future renewals; it does not automatically refund past usage.

Low-Headache Launch Policy

Keep the policy simple at launch: 7-day first-payment refund, cancel anytime, and manual review for exceptions. This builds trust without creating refund abuse or operational load.
